Only one profile may be copied per copy of Elite Dangerous. The original console profile will remain playable. If you missed that announcement, you can find more details here. That is a little nice thing to have, you press one button to turn on the TV via HDMI cable, then 1 button to turn on PS5 with Netflix already on screen.Many of you will be aware that we announced an upcoming process which will allow players to copy progress from their console Commander profiles to PC. Also I bought Media Remote which is very handy. Overall experience is much more up-to-date, when it comes for little things like PlayStation OS working like a charm, or every other games, apps like Netflix. But I bought it even tough I didn't immediately buy any PS5 games, and I don't regret it. So if you would want to buy PS5 JUST to play E:D, I'd say wait. Still I got irritated a few times, including having a hard time participating in CGs. That is pretty much toned down now, but it still happens from time to time. PS4 users are getting errors like Mauve Adder or other colored ship, PS5 users are just getting crashes. GAME F#$ING CRASHES in systems with high player activity, but it seems to be global, multiplatform issue. Tough Frontier acknowledged that Quality mode doesn't change a thing, and maybe, maybe some upgrades will come. 
I was very disappointed when I discovered no native 4K for PS5, despite XSX having it - backwards compatibility thing, Xbox One X had 4K, PS4 Pro didn't. Loading times are faster, tough not a jawdropping effect - Maybe because I reinstalled Elite a few times on PS4 Pro.
Game looks better, shadows and details wise, and has higher FPS in any situation.It is way more comfortable, despite being noticeably heavier.
